ICT for Education

ICT for Education

At my school, I mostly use my laptop to do my daily learning activities. Of course because using a laptop will be much more fun than using a book. There is one application used by my school that is very supportive of learning activities in this school, this application is EDMODO. Besides EDMODO ,on ICT lessons, I also learned about using blogs.

EDMODO
The application serves as a place where we can discuss with our teachers and classmates. Here, we can find out what tasks assigned by our teachers. Just like a homework, if we have to do it we must ‘turn in ‘ so that our teachers know we have done it. With this edmodo app, we are trained to be on time to collect tasks.

Here, we can also see the material we are studying at school after our teacher send it to edmodo in the form of power point, microsoft word, etc. In Edmodo, we can have a study group in each subject with the code given by the teacher in each subject.

The application can also be downloaded in mobile, so that we can always monitor the informations that given to the group class in edmodo wherever we are, and our parents can know the activities / tasks that exist, so parents can remind their children to do the task and learn.

BLOGGER

Here we can share information or our experience to all people around the world. Because I think, if we provide useful information that is needed by other people and others get it, it is a very meritorious deed.

Hopefully the future of ICT for Education can be more broadly in order to provide a positive impact to our future generations.
